For the first edition, the museum invites you to discover the exhibition Christophe Gevers, the architecture of the detail through the eyes of Thierry Belenger.

Thierry Belenger is a collector and expert on 20th-century Belgian design. While working on the exhibition Le bon et le mauvais goût at the Fondation pour l’architecture in 2002, he met Christophe Gevers. This meeting let to the idea of producing an exhibition on him (Inventaire d’un inventeur, Fondation pour l’architecture, 2008). Following Gevers’ death in 2007, and in agreement with the family, Thierry Belenger received his archives in order to preserve them and ensure the visibility of this major figure in Belgian design.

In 2007, in response to the urgent need to collect traces and testimonials of the great Belgian designers of the past century, he founded Archives Design Projects. The aim of the association is to showcase the wok of Belgian designers and architects with a strong human approach, where the small personal stories enhance the big story.
