Come and meet the curator of the exhibition Charlotte Perriand. Comment voulons-nous vivre ? Politics of photomontage. Damarice Amao will take you into Charlotte Perriand’s philosophy and photographic universe through her collection of photographs and archives placed against the reconstitutions of her monumental photomontages.
The visit is followed by the open-air screening of the documentary Charlotte Perriand, pionnière de l’art de vivre.
Damarice Amao (1984°) is a historian of photography and holds a PhD in art history. She works as an associate curator in the photography department of the Musée National d’Art Moderne/Centre Pompidou. She has co-curated numerous exhibitions, including Photographie, arme de classe (Centre Pompidou/Textuel, 2018) as well as Dora Maar(Centre Pompidou, 2019).
