The Henry van de Velde Awards and Let’s Talk Design are joining forces for an evening of inspiration and networking. On May 16, you are welcome at the Design Museum Brussels to listen to the creative story of four winners who received a Henry van de Velde Award this year.

 

The Henry van de Velde Awards recognize Flemish designers, companies and authorities and products, services and systems that use design intelligently, with a positive impact on society, the environment and the economy. With its own website, award ceremony, activities and publication, the awards form a platform for design from Flanders.

 

Let’s Talk Design hosts a number of events each year featuring speakers from the creative sector who come and talk about their work. These events feature both established creatives and emerging talent. Not only inspirational discussions are held, networking and social interaction are also encouraged.

 

Speakers:

• Tim Bisschop – Henry van de Velde Graphics Bronze Award 24 with the book Waters for publisher Hannibal.
• Wouter Vandersyppe – Henry van de Velde Digital Product Silver Award 24 with the KMSKA app.
• Adriaan Van Leuven – Henry van de Velde Graphics Silver Award 24 with the book Collages & assemblages for Verbeke Foundation.
• Zaventem Ateliers – Henry van de Velde Company Gold Award 24.
