Following the exhibition On Display. Designing the shop experienceNathalie Dewez will enter into dialogue with the exhibition’s curator, Benjamin Stoz. During this evening, they will share their perspectives, their research, their projects as well as the impact of design on the boutique and our daily lives.

Nathalie Dewez

Nathalie Dewez is a Belgian designer whose main medium is light. Her work extends from small objects to monumental installations, from unique pieces to industrial products Nathalie Dewez’ s design reflects a passion for sculptural forms and quality craftsmanship. She has also carried out numerous projects for retail brands such as Hermès, Delvaux and Dandoy/ In 2001 she graduated from La Cambre Arts Visuels (Brussels). Afterwards, and some of her iconic works were awarded with many prizes and are present in collections. In 2011, she received the ‘Design Pierre Bergé Foundation’ award and was nominated Belgian Designer of the Year (www.nathaliedewez.com).

Benjamin Stoz

Benjamin Stoz is an interior designer and scenographer who graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels and is responsible for the course History of Food Design at ARBA-ESA. From the beginning of his career, he has been interested in the object and its spatialization. His research focuses on the role of design in various human activities and on the societal aspect of the design profession. In 2012, he created his own interior design office, which specializes in scenography and retail design (www.stoz.design).
