, distinct spaces of nocturnal leisure providing architects and designers all over the world with opportunities and inspiration. This subject is examined in the current temporary exhibition at ADAM

^– Brussels Design Museum, Night Fever. Designing Club Culture 1960 – Todayand inspired the organization of a conference on the subject in collaboration with CIVA. On the 1st of December at KANAL, prominent guests are invited to further explore the subject of nightlife architecture. International designer such as Office of Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) who designed among others the Ministry of Sound II in London (2015) and the Miu Miu club (2015) as well as Ben Kelly, architect and designer of the Haçienda nightclub in Manchester (1982) will take the floor. HORST, a Belgian arts and music festival that invited among others Assemble studio to create the Newcastle Stage at its 2017 edition, and Tom Brus co-creator of Deep in House and C12, will also share their expertise on the subject. The conference is part of the programming of ADAM – Brussels Design Museums temporary exhibition Night Fever. Designing Club Culture 1960 – Today , coproduced with Vitra Design Museum.

, coproduced with Vitra Design Museum. The multidisciplinary exhibition offers the first large-scale examination of the relationship between club culture and design. The exhibitions co-curator, Katarina Serulus, and Cedric Libert (CIVA) will host the conversations. The program will be enriched with musical intermezzo’s.
