On 28 October, Pizzicato and the Design Museum Brussels invite you to an electro-baroque performance by Soetkin Elbers, soprano, accompanied by Jennifer Blom on double bass.
In this project Soetkin transcends the limits of her own instrument, her voice, by integrating live electronics. Passionate about ancient music and keenly interested in contemporary sound exploration, Soetkin takes us on a journey, at the crossroads of apparently divergent musical worlds, that she hopes will be harmonious and innovative. In this performance, she interprets a selection of works from the baroque vocal repertoire boldly interwoven with live electronic sounds, inviting the audience to a unique aural experience in which past and present come together.
