Artists:
The Belgian soprano Isabelle Jacques has made a name for herself on the Belgian and French-speaking opera scene, particularly in the comic opera and operetta repertoire. In 2025, she performed the role of Dinah in Bernstein’s “Trouble in Tahiti” at the PBA in Charleroi, a role she will reprise in 2026 in Vesoul. In 2024, she made her debut at the Opéra Comique in Paris in the role of La Tourière in Le Domino Noir, conducted by Louis Langrée. A competition winner, she was awarded 2nd Prize at the Béziers Competition (2024) and 1st Prize at the Brussels National Operetta Competition (2022). She took part in the tour of *The Diary of a Disappeared Man* (directed by Ivo Van Hove) and sang at La Monnaie in several productions. Trained at the Leipzig University of Music and Theatre, she has worked with various conductors and continues her studies with Karine Deshayes.
Lionel Bams trained at the academies of Couvin and Dinant before obtaining his diplomas in piano and chamber music at the Conservatoires of Liège and Brussels. Specialising in vocal accompaniment, he honed his skills with masters such as Udo Reinemann and Irwin Gage. In concert, he performs at venues such as Bozar, La Monnaie, Flagey, the Lille Opera and internationally. As a piano accompanist and vocal coach, he teaches at the Conservatoires of Brussels and Mons, as well as at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel. He has recorded the complete songs of Albert Huybrechts and is preparing a recording dedicated to Michel Lysight.
