On November 25, Pizzicato and the Design Museum Brussels invite you to a concert by Duo Aita Semea (“father and son” in Basque), featuring Christophe Bereau on double bass and Raphaël Bereau on guitar.
Duo Aita Semea draws its inspiration from the Bayonne region, at the foot of the majestic Pyrenees. The duo explores a rich repertoire of songs and dances from around the world, allowing their artistic spontaneity to flourish. From the songs of northern Italy to Astor Piazzolla’s nostalgic reflections on tango, from Franz Schubert’s Arpeggione to Enrique Granados’ Spain, the duo offers an eclectic program, revisiting the works of great composers through original arrangements.
