Artists:
Cécile Lastchenko is a Belgian mezzo-soprano who trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. She furthered her studies at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel under José van Dam and Sophie Koch. A prize-winner at several international competitions, she performs regularly at prestigious venues in Belgium and across Europe. She has performed notably at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie, Flagey, the Palais des Beaux-Arts, as well as at the Opéra du Grand Avignon and the Fondation Louis Vuitton. Her recent roles include Rosina (The Barber of Seville), Laura (Luisa Miller) and Blondine (The Enchanted Castle).
Lionel Bams trained at the academies in Couvin and Dinant before obtaining his diplomas in piano and chamber music at the Conservatoires of Liège and Brussels. Specialising in vocal accompaniment, he furthered his studies with masters such as Udo Reinemann and Irwin Gage. In concert, he performs at venues such as Bozar, La Monnaie, Flagey, the Lille Opera and internationally. As an accompanist and vocal coach, he teaches at the Conservatoires of Brussels and Mons, as well as at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel. He has recorded the complete songs of Albert Huybrechts and is preparing a recording dedicated to Michel Lysight.
