You can also take advantage of the weekend to visit the Skateboard exhibition one last time and the photo exhibition showcasing the Belgian skate scene through the eyes of 10 Belgian photographers. Check out the full programme below and join us for this festive occasion. There is something for everyone, of all ages and abilities.
PROGRAMME:
ACTIVITY – Skateboard lessons
Come and enjoy the ramp, have fun and improve your skills together. Need help with a technique or trick? The skateboarders from Stoked Board Academy will be there to help you and teach you the tricks of the trade.
ACTIVITY – Customize your skateboard
Want to make your skateboard unique with a self-designed grip tape? During this workshop, the Stoked Board Academy team will help you create your own design using graffiti, markers, stickers, and whatever else you can think of! Whether you opt for a bold street art style or a minimalist pattern, we’ll help you step by step to unleash your creativity on your board.
What to expect?
The workshop is open to ages 8 and up and doesn’t require any prior experience. It’s all about fun, creativity, and self-expression!
EXPO – Skateboard
Skateboard explores the development of skateboard design since the 1950s, focusing on its technological, performative and aesthetic evolution. Visitors will gain insight into how skaters have repeatedly re-designed their boards to new styles and environments.
